Fire & Water - Cleanup & Restoration

Excess Water Often Means There’s Mold in the Home. Murrieta Restoration Techs are Here to Help! ®

Our Murrieta property restoration technicians have extensive training and skills in the restoration of property damage after water damage. Part of that training necessarily involves counterattacking attacks from mold and other microbial growth, as the spores need only a little excess water to grow and colonize your property. Call us at 951-894-4392 for high-quality, professional, responsible, Faster-to-any-size-disaster help. Water and mold are so frighteningly destructive that their presence in your home always counts as a disaster. Our emergency services are, therefore, available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 52 weeks a year. We promise to:

  • Arrive promptly, prevent further damage
  • Find and remove water, mold (any microbial growth), sewage, and other contaminants
  • Remediate damage from any of the above
  • Eliminate odors

We have a couple of non-dictionary – but useful – definitions.

Excess water – any amount of water that is in your home but not where it should be, such as:

  • Appliance leaks (insult to injury – that water is contaminated!)
  • Sewage leaks (even worse)
  • Slow condensation (over a day) in bathrooms, saunas, sinks, etc.
  • Burst pipes
  • Damp patches from leaks behind walls or under floors

Excess mold or microbial growth – any growth that is not on cheese and is in/on your home and other property, such as:

  • Shower walls
  • Walls, ceilings, support beams, roof, floor
  • Behind or under the structural materials (musty odors are a clue)
  • Spots, blotches, streaks, etc. on towels, furniture, carpets…

Mold spores are everywhere. The National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) has even found mold spores on the outside of the space station. Without oxygen, excess water, or anything to eat, these spores cannot grow. Indoors, however, the only missing element is water. Even high humidity (not a problem in Murrieta, except for bathrooms or saunas) provides enough water for mold spores to open and flourish.

Once the spores open, the mold survives by eating:

  • Drywall, some insulation
  • Fabrics (upholstery, carpets, drapes, clothing)
  • Wood
  • Many types of glue, or other adhesives (such as grout)
  • Paint, wallpaper
  • Skin cells or hair (by which the mold spreads throughout the house)
  • Pet food
  • Leftovers
  • Beverages
  • Even some plastics!

Call us at 951-894-4392 any time. We’re in business to make the water damage “Like it never even happened.”
